Aiden's Christmas Program

Aiden's school put on a Christmas program. Aiden did really good this year. He actually sang this time. Last year he got a little stage freight and didn't sing. It was nice to have our families come and see Aiden sing.
He loves school and his teacher. Everyday he asks "Do I got school today?"
He gets a lot of attention at school. The parents of the other kids always say that their kids mention Aiden. A couple days ago one of the parents of a little boy in his class told me she had asked her little boy if he wanted to look cute today, he said " No, Aiden's the cute one." How funny! The things kids say!

Getting back to my roots

I've recently picked up a new hobby... Hula! My sister-in-law Siona teaches us every Tuesday night. It's a beginners class which I really need because I haven't danced since I was little. It's nice because if you wanted to join a hula class you would have to pick up where they are and who knows when they started. But with Siona's class we've just started about a month ago so it's nice that we are all on the same page. We are all mothers learning a new hobby and it's a nice outlet from the kids. Come join us! The class is tons of fun, it's a friendly environment, and it's a great work out! If you are interested contact Siona at siona10@hotmail.com.
Last night was our first performance. We performed at a retirement home. Kayla and Joseph danced The Hukilau and we danced Te Mahana. It was so fun to light up the old folks faces. They really enjoyed our dancing.

Sorry the center pic is so bad but it was the only one we got of Kalani trying to get me to hold him while I was dancing. It was so cute.
This was the sweetest thing. This couple was willing to come up and participate.

That has got to be his Tutu!

Look who turned 4

On Sunday Aiden turned 4 years old! He started his birthday out by going to church and giving a talk in primary. He did a really good job with the help of his daddy. Next we had a little party at my parents house with family and friends.
The whole day aiden kept asking Brady, "Daddy are you leaving now that it's my birthday?" Brady kept telling him no. Then at his birthday party he say's "Daddy now that I'm 4 do I live alone?" Brady said no you still live with mommy and daddy. Then Aiden said okay. How funny, he thought that now that he was older he had to be on his own. I have no idea where he got that.

Not my lil boy any more

Last week I took Aiden to get his hair cut. I asked him if he wanted it long or short like he's daddy's, and of course he chose to have it short like his dads. After we cut his hair I realized why I don't like to cut his hair short because he looks older and I want my little boy back.

Accident Prone

We were having so much fun with Halloween and all that something was bound to happen. And of course it had to be one of my kids. Aiden the accident prone child!
What happened was Aiden, Kai, and Kalani were riding on Brady's long board when Aiden decided to put his finger on one of the wheels. His finger got caught under the wheel and dragged along the asphalt. We took him to the doctors and they sanitized and bandaged it. He was brave but still cried. Monday we took him in again to re bandage and see if it was healing. Doctor said he may need a skin graph. Can you believe it! I have the worst luck! But at least he's still smiling!

Halloween

Halloween was quiet eventful. We started our week with a Halloween party at the Little Gym on Monday. Wednesday we visited the pumpkin patch then carved pumpkins that night. Halloween night we had another Halloween party at my parents. Everyone dressed up, we ate, and the best part was the candy!

This year was Kalani's first time trick-or-treating. He wasn't too sure what was going on but once he saw the candy he knew exactly what to do. Eat it! After a few doors he was a pro. He was so happy he couldn't believe that people just hand out candy. It was probably the best day for him so far!

Kalani's first word! Not really but I think it's so cute!

Pumpkin Patch and Pumpkin Carving

Kalani just wants to be one of the big kids. He does pretty good at keeping up with them.

Little Gym Halloween Party

Kalani attends the Little Gym every week. He really enjoys himself and the other kids as long as they don't get in his way! The boys had tons of fun at the Halloween party as you can see.
