Our trip continues

We stopped at St. George for a quick dip in the pool, then continued on to our destiny...Las Vegas to make it just in time to Surprise Kayla on her birthday.  Happy 8th Birthday Kayla!

We arrived at the Wolsey's house but they weren't home so luckily I remembered their garage code and snuck into their house and waited and waited.... until finally they pulled up to the garage so we all hid on the stairs and right when they came through the door we dropped pillows on them and yelled....SURPRISE!  They were pretty surprised!  Kayla and Kai were so happy to see us!

All, well most of all the cousins together.

Brady and the boys drove from Las Vegas back to Oregon approx 20 hour drive.  There was no way Meilia and I were going to be in a car for that long so we flew back home couple days later.
Kailoa and his teddy bear....can't go anywhere without it!
They went through California and saw some great views.

Our trip to Utah, St. George and Las Vegas was all worth it to see my little niece Kayla get baptised.  I'm so glad we decided to take off and go!  I wouldn't want to miss out on Kayla's special day.

Kids Pics

While in Utah we got the kids pictures taken by the talented Heather Telford. She did an amazing job. I love the way the pictures turned out!

Surprise!

Last day of didactic year for Brady's PA program. One year down one more to go! Two weeks break before he starts rotations! So this morning he tells me, "pack up, lets go to Utah!" I was scrambling trying to pack for three kids in only a few short hours. We packed the car and picked up Kailoa from school. We didn't tell the kids anything. So when Kailoa got in the car his eyes got big and his mouth wide open and asked where are we going? Why is the car packed? Why is my pillow in the car? Where are we going mom? Once we told the kids we were going to Utah they screamed with excitement! They were so happy to be going to Utah!

Kailoa is holding Kayla's invitation to her baptism which was the driving force of our trip. We wanted to be there for her special day.
Ready Meimei?? It's going to be a long one!

After 13 hours on the road we finally made it to Utah. The boys snuck into grandma and grandpa's house, quietly ran up the stairs to surprise them! Grandma and grandpa were really surprised. They had no idea that we were coming. We are all dressed and ready for church on Easter Sunday. And look what the Easter bunny dropped off.

Meimei knows the good stuff!

Basking in the sun! Getting some vitamin D we've been missing in Oregon.
"EWWW what is this?!" Meimei wasn't too fond of the grass, she's already a miss prissy!

Kailoa was the "last man standing" decorating the eggs.

We had a great Easter at grandma's and grandpa's. More posts to come of our trip to Utah and Vegas!

Baseball!!

Kalani's first T-ball game was on Monday. Kailoa also had a game the same day and time so I went to Kalani's game and Brady went to Kailoa's game. I took the video camera and Brady took the pic camera so that's why I don't have any pics of Kalani's game. Which I wish I had pics of Kalani's team. Their team is so unorganized. First off the coach is totally not involved, he coaches another team which leaves Kalani's team with the assistant coach which I'm not sure if he even knows baseball. When Kalani's team is on the out field everyone (the whole team) runs to get the ball which ends in a dog pile brawl while the other team runs around all the base's. The assistant coach just sits there and watches them brawl it out for whoever gets the ball.
So the second game Brady was able to make it. I forewarned him about how Kalani's team thinks baseball is played. So Brady stepped in to help coach since the head coach wasn't there again! The assistant coach sat there again just watching the kids run to the ball. Brady tried to tell the kids to stay in their spots but I guess that didn't work because they kept running to the ball. On top of that the coach hasn't assigned any of the parents to bring treats so there was no treats at the end of the game. Kalani was so disappointed! Just Ridiculous!
Other than the team being totally unorganized Kalani is having fun and loving it! He got the ball at his first game and was so excited when he got the ball and threw it to first base. He was so excited he had to run out of the game to come and tell me what he had done. He was so happy. As long as he's having fun that's all that matters!

This is pics from Kailoa's games. He's doing awesome! He loves baseball, he says it's his favorite sport.
