Our baby is growing so fast. She's now a Roley-Polly, squirmy, 8 month old! She's rolling everywhere. I'm afraid she's not going to want to learn how to crawl when she gets where she wants to by rolling. Maybe she will figure it out that it's easier and faster to get where you want by crawling.
She loves to put everything in her mouth. Whatever she can get her hands on it goes right into her mouth. The things she most loves to chew on is her stuffed caterpillar her cousin Kayla gave her for Christmas. Thank you Kayla!
Ahu has started eating baby food. Her favorites are mostly fruits. She spits out the green stuff. She's already picky!
Something funny she does is she scrunches her nose and makes sniffing sounds. Which is funny because Kailoa did the exact same thing when he was a baby.
Something I was worried about that she might do is pull off her headband and yes she does but only the crochet headbands not the nylon or lace headbands. I just thought I needed to get her use to wearing headbands so I just put the nylon ones on her and never really put the crochet ones on because they were a little too big for her small head. Well I guess I should have been putting those ones on her instead to get her use to those because now she just rips them right off. Or maybe the crochet ones are just easier to pull off.
The boys and I are enjoying every minute with her. She is the highlight of our day. The boys always can't wait to go into her room when she wakes up in the morning and every nap. Whenever she cries from her crib the boys say "go get her mom she's scared." They are always squeezing her and giving her lots of wet kisses! We love you Miss Mei

Stinker Kalani
The stinker Kalani got a hold of some scissors, started out cutting some paper then his bed sheets then his hair! I guess he was getting jealous of Kailoa and Kai getting their hair cut short that he wanted to join in since his mommy won't let him get his hair cut!
Now he's got some uneven bangs
His little curls, so cute! And that's why I won't cut his hair.

Ahu's 1st swim
January 15thAhu loved the water. She started with her toes splashing in the water then dipped right in! It was like a big bath time. She loved watching the boys play. She laid on my shoulder in the water just relaxing. She's a little mermaid!
Student of the Month
Kailoa was recognized as Student of the Month for being Generous. Kailoa is always willing to give more than expected. He's always wanting to please us. We are so proud of you Kailoa!
He loves his new bed tent he got for Christmas from his grandparents. Thank you grandma and grandpa Norton!
Christmas in Utah!
It was so nice to go back home for Christmas. It was a well deserved break. We got to spend time with family and everyone got to see our little Ahu, finally! Everyone ate her up! She loved being held and loved being the center of attention. She especially loved her Tutu and Aunty Kawai who got to be with her the whole time since we stayed at Tutu's along with the Wolsey's. Yes, the house was packed but we loved it! It was nice to have company 24/7! We loved being home and miss everyone!
