Kalani's big day started out with running through hanging streamers!
We then headed out to Tillamook and visited the famous Tillamook Cheese Factory. The kids made their own stamped souvenir penny. We tasted the cheese and even their yummy ice cream.
It's funny- Kailoa and I would ask Kalani what kind of party he wanted to have... dragons, spider man, batman, etc... Kailoa was thinking really hard of what Kalani likes and said "Kalani you could have a milk party!" We then laughed and made fun of Kalani! For anyone who doesn't know Kalani.....He loves his milk! If milk could satisfy his hunger, which it usually does, that's all he would eat. He has milk for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So what better way to celebrate his birthday then at the Cheese Factory! Hope Kalani doesn't hate us for this!
Here's Kalani attacking the Cheese Man! Yes, he got in trouble by Mr. Cheese's body guard!
We then headed towards the coast and stopped by Cape Meares lighthouse. It was very beautiful.
Tutu came for Kalani's birthday! The boys loved waking up to see Tutu right below them on their bunk bed! Thanks Tutu for coming and spoiling us! We love you and miss you already!
Don't mind my stretchy pants which make my shoes look over sized. My excuse....always worrying about the kids-no time for myself!
Boys at the Octopus tree.
We finally made it to the beach. All the boys would ask was "Are we going to the beach yet?" It was such a beautiful day. The wind speed wasn't bad and it wasn't too cold. 45-50 degrees is not bad at all for Oregon Coast. Yes it's not Hawaii but the boys still enjoyed playing in the sand and putting their feet in the water. If Kailoa had it his way he would have swam in the water. Yes he's nuts. So when a wave came and surprised him and got most of his jeans wet... he was ecstatic, wishing his whole body got wet. Silly boy!
Kalani how old are you.....We came back home ate one of the boys favorite meals KFC which we don't often get anymore due to our lack of income. Thanks to Tutu for spoiling us with fast foods and eating out! We then sang Kalani happy birthday and of course he didn't even eat his cake. He's not a cake kind of guy. He hates frosting or any kind of sauce. Weirdo, I know.
Kalani is our full of energy, surprises (most of the time not good ones), sneaky, funny, fire ball kid! He sure does make our life entertaining and most of the time full of headaches. You always have to be on alert when your with him because you never know what he's going to do. He's rough but he can also be lovey. He loves to give big wet kisses (if you haven't already received one, he gives them out freely to anyone) and loves to snuggle! These are all the reason's why we love our Kalaninani's! Happy Birthday Kalani! We love you!
I've been telling Kalani for a long time now that he needs to get rid of his sippy cups and that only baby's drink out of sippy cups (that obviously didn't bother him), so I told him when you turn 4 we are going to throw away your sippy cups. Well the day came and he did just that, with no problem. It's about time! Way ta go Kalani!
This look....It's like he's saying "chhhyeah...I'm throwing my sippys away..could have done it awhile ago!"
