Halloween was different this year since it landed on a Sunday we couldn't go around our neighborhood knocking on doors on Saturday because people would think we are weird. Now I know why we have trunk-or-treat!! Our wards in Utah would have trunk-or-treats but we would never go because mostly everyone in Utah is LDS and would participate handing out candy on Saturday even when the 31st landed on Sunday. One reason why I'm starting to appreciate Utah. So all of us LDS members gathered around the church and had trunk-or-treat on Saturday. When we got home from the trunk-or-treat Kailoa said lets go trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. It was sad, I had to explain to him why he couldn't. Then Sunday comes and some kids come up to the door trick-or-treating and I had to explain again why he couldn't go trick-or-treating today that yesterday was our Halloween. I don't think he quiet understood, he probably just thinks he got jipped this Halloween. But he's not complaining he got a ton of candy from the trunk-or-treat.

After a ton of boa's and boa everywhere...... Our cute pink and black poodle!
I attempted to dress up..... it started with crinkling my hair then putting whatever I had on in my closet then stealing one of ahu's hair bows and ended up as a hippy.
Kailoa has always wanted to be a dragon ever since Kalani was a dragon when he was a baby one year for Halloween. Kalani got a ton of attention and I think that's the reason why Kailoa has always wanted to be a dragon. Well this year I finally made him his dragon costume and he did get all the attention he wanted! Everyone at trunk-or-treat kept telling him his costume was awesome, the best they've seen, and most creative. Thanks to google you can find tons of ideas on how to make homemade costumes!

Poor Kalani, I was going to make him a costume too but I got to over whelmed making Kailoa's and ahu's costume. I don't think he cared wait, maybe that's why he was trying to step on Kailoas dragon wings! He was expressing his anger by trying to break Kailoa's costume. Sorry Kalani I hope you don't remember this Halloween. You did like being snake eyes though..... right.... (kailoa's costume last year, I didn't even buy him a new one how junk am I!)

You can't tell but there's a flashlight in the dragons mouth for a fire breathing dragon affect
